Verdict

Clonmeen gave notice of an imminent victory when a close second at Fairyhouse and duly obliged at Down Royal where his stamina came into play. Dual hurdles winner The Big Galloper has yet to reach a place in six starts over fences but will love the testing conditions. KINGS HALO was beaten a neck on heavy ground at Clonmel before scoring over an extended 2m5f at Tramore. He's never been this far but looks like a stayer and can defy an 8lb rise. Chosen Diamond, a comfortable winner over 2m4f at Naas, didn't stays this far over hurdles but the last time Jack Kennedy rode Where It All Began he won over hurdles.
