Gordon Elliott has won three of the last four and Surin, a winning bumper over 1m5f at Market Rasen when trained in Germany, went for £72,000 at the sales later and looks a nice recruit for the yard. Gavin Cromwell has five entries and three-times Flat winner Quantatmental should have come on for his run at Fairyhouse though Life On Earth won twice on the level for William Haggas. Art Of America, twice a winner on the level at Gowran in October, didn't get very far on his hurdling bow at Leopardstown last week but Joseph O'Brien runs a couple of likely types for jumping. Gardens of Babylon only ran twice on the Flat but has a superb pedigree while Star Max won twice in Germany including an easy victory over 1m2f at Dortmund in September.
