YOUNG TED failed to take advantage of what looked decent chances in two races at Navan earlier this year though probably found the ground too testing. His close second to My Sister Sarah in a Grade B handicap here n May last year is far superior form than anything managed by his rivals. Cardboard Gangster was beaten 15 lengths into second here three weeks ago though that was only his second start under Rules while Criq Rock won two bumpers for Alan King in the UK though that was way back in 2015. Gordon Elliott’s twice-raced Euclyde Dubreau has the scope to do better and could find a place on the podium.
