In depth

Verdict

Flirting Lesa won a hunter-chase on the track in May last year and could hardly have won any easier at Galway earlier this month for which she’s been raised 9lb. Tiantu has battled to victories at Wexford and Tramore but a 6lb rise makes this tougher while Line Out’s victory at Ballinrobe was in a beginners’ chase and he makes his handicap debut. MACGILONEY’s victory over Doctor Duffy at Roscommon would probably be good enough for this. He ran poorly behind the runner-up at Ballinrobe and needs to bounce back but proving the ground doesn’t ease further he can get back to winning ways. Scoir Mear is 1-22 over fences but has generally competed at a much higher level and should be better for his comeback at Ballinrobe.
