In depth

Verdict

The veteran banks course performer JOSIES ORDERS created a shock when scoring over hurdles at 100/1 last month at Cork. He'll be ideally suited by the trip and ground and can defy the years with another victory. Spancil Hill competes from the bottom of the handicap with Rachael Blackmore booked. Another veteran, he's 3lb out of the handicap but still 15lb lower than his chase mark. Walking On Glass had a recent run on the Flat to put him straight and should have no problems with ground or trip while it's difficult to ignore the claims of Thunderosa, the winner of three of his last four over 3m on soft ground. Bronson In Blue had been building up to a comfortable victory at Tipperary though a 9lb rise makes this more difficult.
