DEMI PLIE (NAP) was a 50/1 chance when beaten just over a length by the high-class Elimay in a Fairyhouse Listed contest when the useful Mount Ida and today's rival Abbey Magic were behind. The runner-up was rated 21lb inferior to the winner but was only receiving 8lb so a similar performance would see her very difficult to beat. Salsaretta pulled up in the Irish National but there was nothing wrong with her fourth behind Colreevy and Elimay at Cheltenham though the selection has her held on a line through the second. She was a long way behind stable companion Agusta Gold when odds-on at Fairyhouse but wasn't right and can reverse the form. Scarlet And Dove looks well treated on the balance of her form with Jordan Gainford's claim a huge bonus.
