In depth

Verdict

WINNER TAKES ITALL (NAP) landed a maiden hurdle at Listowel in September then made a bad mistake when in touch at Navan in November. He reappeared with a victory on the Flat and has performed in strong company subsequently. Mig Des Taillons landed a Down Royal handicap in such impressive style that he went up 15lb and couldn’t cope at Galway so another 2lb rise won’t help. British Art made all to land a 2m3f Downpatrick handicap so shouldn’t have a problem dropping down in trip though a 6lb rise makes this slightly more difficult. Rebel Gold found 2m4f much too far at Galway after easily landing a Limerick maiden while Banjo was soon being scrubbed along at Galway after landing a Tramore maiden.
