Verdict

Darver Star, a nine-times winner over hurdles, gained his only success over fences on this track. Dan Skelton sends Flegmatik from the UK after he just failed to land a Grade 3 handicap at Kempton in February. Ramillies couldn't handle Grade 1 company at Cheltenham but that was only his third start over fences and he'd lost a Grade 3 at Naas in the steward's room on his previous start. Jerandme was in touch when falling two out in a Leopardstown Grade B handicap while Brideswell Lad is 7lb higher than when landing a Tramore handicap. DIOL KER unseated at the first in the Grand National but had run a brilliant race when beaten a short-head in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown in December. He could represent some each-way value in a very tight handicap. Champagne Gold was hampered at the first at Cheltenham and is better judged on his previous run there in October.
