In depth

Verdict

Bardenstown Lad was very impressive over an extended 2m3f on soft ground at Tipperary and another big run is expected but DYSART DYNAMO landed a 2m2f Clonmel bumper in some style and, though meeting far superior opposition, has the scope to go on to better things and looks the one to beat. Stable companion Cool Jet, an easy winner at Thurles, will find this easier than chasing his stable companions Sir Gerhard and Kilcruit at Cheltenham while Grand Jury beat a strong field of point-to-pointers here and holds Ballinrobe winner Glen Wyllin on a line through the runner-up. Gordon Dai Dai hasn't been seen since making a winning debut at Galway and may have been saved for this, though the form hasn't worked out.
