Scoir Mear went up 9lb for landing a Navan handicap in March and has struggled in better company. Whisperinthebreeze is a tough stayer who was in the lead when falling in the Grade 2 National Hunt Cup at Cheltenham in March and led for a long way in the Irish National. He could find this on the short side but CHOUNGAYA, placed in two Grade 3's over hurdles, made a very promising debut over fences at Naas when staying on strongly to get within a length of Tornado Flyer and can go one better. The winner's yard is represented by Dorrells Pierji, another smart hurdler who finished a close third behind stable companion Mr Adjudicator in a top handicap hurdle at the Festival here in May, and Salsaretta, who ran in four Grade 1's after landing a Limerick maiden hurdle in December.
