An already brilliant Roll of Honour should be enhanced by the superb VAUTOUR, whose fall at Aintree was the big disappointment of the meeting. His earlier victory in the Ryanair at Cheltenham was right out of the top drawer as was his narrow defeat in the King George at Kempton so compensation awaits here despite the big drop in trip. God's Own eventually won that race at Aintree and can never be discounted. He won the 2014 Ryanair over this track and trip and the ground has come right for him while Special Tiara enters the fray in tremendous shape having finished a close third behind Sprinter Sacre and Un De Sceaux in the Champion Chase with God's Own 5l back in fourth. The 2013 Arkle winner Simonsig had a spin over hurdles in November and Nicky Henderson wouldn't send him for this unless convinced he was capable of a big run.
