ENERGUMENE put a lacklustre performance in the Clarence House behind him with a brilliant effort to land his second Queen Mother Champion Chase, his ninth victory in 11 starts over fences. He's 9lb clear on official ratings of stablemate Gentleman De Mee, who beat stable companion Blue Lord seven lengths in the Grade 1 Dublin Chase at Leopardstown. Chacon Pour Soi was beaten eight lengths by the selection in this last year and was a long way behind Blue Lord in a Leopardstown Grade 1 at Christmas. Rebel Gold only scrambled home in a Naas Grade 3 and has plenty to find as does Magic Daze, who refused to race at Cheltenham after landing a Naas Listed contest.
