SIR DES CHAMPS continues to impress and looked a potential Gold Cup hope when easily landing the Jewson at Cheltenham. He's now unbeaten in seven starts over jumps and though he's never tackled this trip it looks as though it will suit him even better. The classy hunter Mossey Joe made a bright start over regulation fences and though his winning run came to an end at Down Royal in June he sprawled badly on landing at the third last and never recovered. He can do much better while Frisco Depot is a progressive novice who had Ordinary Man 5l behind when landing a Grade 2 at Limerick at the beginning of the month. Shop Dj hasn't done enough to suggest she can trouble the principals.
Frisco Depot 15-8 (11-3) Chased leaders, closer in 3rd after 3 out, ridden to lead last, stayed on well run-in to draw clear close home, won at Limerick 3m nov chs G2 (1) gd beating Your Busy (11-3) by 3 1/2l, 6 ran.
