      Verdict

      In interesting clash between the two Gigginstown runners. Rachel Blackmore gets on well with Henry De Bromhead’s Or Jaune De Somoza, but he only beat Stowaway Forever half-a-length at Fairyhouse and is 6lb worse off. FARCLAS, winner of the Triumph Hurdle in 2018, was scoring for the first time since when making his chasing bow at Down Royal nine days ago. There was plenty more to come on the evidence of that run. St Lawrence Gap has won the Flat and over hurdles but doesn’t have a chasing pedigree.
