In depth

Verdict

The veteran Bye Bye O Bye is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and he ran well at Tipperary after a spell over fences. The last time Thanks For Tea ran over hurdles she scored over this trip on good ground at Ballinrobe. She's been going well over fences and looks on an attractive mark. Pateen hasn't run since a surprise victory at Galway in July and that was over an extended 2m so this trip is a complete unknown. Small World stays the trip well and has Barry Geraghty on board though SPRING WATCH (NAP) was so impressive on only his second start in a handicap over slightly shorter here last month that it will be a surprise if he isn't in the shake-up and he gets the nod to defy a 9lb rise.
