Verdict

The last time Poormans Hill ran over hurdles was in January last year when he completed a quick double here and at Fairyhouse. He's 16lb higher but still lower than his chase mark. His stable also run Falak, who ran well in a big field here early last month and is likely to be suited by the longer trip. Macgiloney is a confirmed stayer as he showed when coming with a late run to score over the trip at Cork. This is his first run in a handicap and he doesn't look badly treated on 118. STACKS MOUNTAIN had been running well before landing a Tipperary maiden over this trip in very taking fashion. He's open to plenty of improvement and looks capable of going on to better things. Cray had plenty to do at Cork after scoring at Tipperary but was staying on strongly at the finish and is still on a fair mark.
