Winning point-to-pointer Champagne Classic could hardly have been more impressive in a Fairyhouse bumper last month and should do even better over obstacles. Jimmy Breekie had been threatening to win for some time before landing a bumper on this track so he should make a hurdler while dual bumper winner New To This Town will have come on a bundle for last month's run over timber at Gowran. The Rory Story attracted strong support on his bumper debut at Navan and won in the style of a potentially useful performer while Turcagua is another who has already shown enough over hurdles to be given a chance. TOE THE LINE, a Listed winner on the Flat in October, was making her hurdling debut when beaten a short-head by Forge Meadow in a huge field at Wexford and, with that under her belt, can land this much stronger than average maiden.
