Verdict
Joseph O'Brien complicates matters here by introducing TREE OF KNOWLEDGE, who had just four starts on the Flat scoring easily at Gowran and finishing a close fourth in a Group 3 at Leopardstown. A rating of 102 is 33lb higher than his stable companion Ineffable achieved on the level, though the latter made an encouraging start over timber behind Champagne Pat at Gowran. Alcander ran really well when third to the selection's stable companion Landofhopeandglory at Fairyhouse and he could prove best of those with hurdling experience as he finished just in front of Niven on that occasion. Tout Est Permis is closely tied in with the latter pair on a line through Landofhopeandglory while the hurdling newcomer Landsman could prove the pick of Tony Martin's quartet. Gordon Elliott's Dinaria Des Obeaux is bred to be a staying chaser so might find a few of these too quick.
