Verdict

Humble Glory carries a penalty for her bumper victory on this track before she made a very promising debut over timber behind the long odds-on Lady Breffni over 2m4f here. With further progress likely, she looks certain to go well and she easily holds third-placed Stockdale on that run. Merry Doyenne caught the eye of the stewards when fourth at Fairyhouse and has to be respected while Chenery ran her best race to date at Clonmel though that was back in October. Winning point-to-pointer EMILY ROEBLING ran a cracking race behind subsequent winner Velvet Elvis in what looked a strong Cork maiden in January. With Simon Torrens claiming his 5lb, she looks the one to beat though The West Awaits is certain to have her followers after her victory in a Clonmel bumper a year ago.
