In depth

Verdict

Unless Peter Chapple-Hyam's Etta Place proves to be out of the ordinary, this really looks to be little more than a match between Lee Miller and Siyasa, with preference for the former. Luca Cumani's filly made a promising debut when a close third behind Illusion at Windsor over a mile prior to finding just Red Dune too good at Goodwood over the same trip on her next start. The extra two furlongs should not inconvenience the daughter of Danehill Dancer, who is taken to go one better today. Mark Johnston's Ghizlaan can be expected to improve for her debut outing at York but needs to, while Miss Serena is hard to recommend having been well held in both starts so far. Godolphin's Siyasa has shown a reasonable level of form, including in two recent starts over this trip, but Lee Miller looks to be going the right way and she is preferred.
