      Verdict

      THORNABY NASH picks up a penalty for last week's victory at Wetherby but won with plenty of authority and can defy the extra. He looks better than stablemate Sophisticated Heir, who is running poorly and may do better on softer ground but Twin Point has a fair chance after a very good run over slightly shorter behind Harwoods Volante at the same meeting on the A1 track. Moonlight Venture definitely does better on ground with some give so connections will be hoping for rain while the maiden Piccadilly Jim didn't get the run of the race at Ripon last time and can get into the frame with a better run.
