        Verdict

        Dixieanna will be a short price here, but should hold too many guns for Improvise and Monkey Madge. The Barry Hills trained filly made a very pleasing debut at Windsor in august, finishing a close up second to Woodcote. That winner went on to finish third in the Rockingham Stakes at York, so the form is rock solid and Dixieanna should be too good for these rivals. The best of which should be Improvise who finished second to the smart King Marju on her final run of last campaign. Her stable is in decent form and she looks the one for the forecast. Monkey Madge appears to be the only other danger having finished a decent second at Thirsk behind Tara's Treasure on her debut. She disappointed next time out here, but obviously has ability and may pick up third place money. So not much value to be had about Dixieanna, but she should take the honours this afternoon.
