Penrith, Alekhine, Inchloss and Mount Vettore look to be the principles here and we will take a chance on the last mentioned. The selection is dropped in grade, will have conditions to suit and also has the services of Darryll Holland here, so we are happy to take a chance on him returning to his best form which would make him very competitive. Penrith rates the main danger as he hails from the all-conquering Mark Johnston yard and he is sure to come on for his debut win at Leicester when he got the better of Maaloof. He will be suited by the step up in trip and it would be no surprise to see him go very well. Alekhine came from off the pace to get within a head of Attune at Thirsk last time so he is another with obvious claims, while Inchloss showed a good attitude to finish second at York behind Oddsmaker. He is another that will not be far away at the finish in a competitive handicap, but Mount Vettore has plenty going for him here and is given the tentative vote.
