DESERT FRIEND only had three rivals to beat at Leicester but did it in such style that he can remain unbeaten before going on to better things. Tribal Commander was very green at Bath but stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job and looks certain to win before long. Never Do Nothing made an impression on his Kempton debut and started odds-on at Thirsk where he always looked the likely winner so he’s an obvious threat. Silkstone got up close home over 7f at Leicester though has to concede weight all round but Spirit Of Lund belied his 80/1 SP with an eye-catching run at Musselburgh.
