Slim Chance produced one of the season's shocks when scoring at 66/1 at Carlisle for which he picks up a 6lb penalty. Majestic Manannan hasn't won for over a year and is still higher in the weights but the front-running Pearl Noir showed himself in good heart at Beverley and has to be respected. Mey Blossom also won on the Westwood on her penultimate start and ran well there last time but the vote goes to CHOSEN ONE. Ruth Carr's veteran made all at Ayr three weeks ago and has to be forgiven his subsequent run there as the ground turned soft. Pabusar has one victory in 44 starts and that was in 2010.
