A tough handicap to fathom though favourites do surprisingly well having won four of the last eight. Very few three-year-olds have run in the race and none have won in ten years though they are better represented this time. George Bailey is likely to be at the head of the market after his victory at Beverley where he stayed on strongly while Milady Eileen is consistent enough and only 3lb higher than her victory at Hamilton. Rob Hornby rode LAZY SIOUX to victory at Beverley earlier this month and regains the mount after she failed to cope with a 5lb hike in the weights at Wetherby where she was only caught close home. She's taken to come out on top this time as Scoreline was beaten in a seller last time and she holds Incomparable on that Beverley run. Salvatore Fury isn't the most consistent but has the class for this at his best and a first-time visor could light him up.
