    Verdict

    CAPE COAST picked-up well in the straight to finish fourth over today’s trip at Kempton last time and Mark Johnsto’s charge looks the one to beat on that form. Count Simon made a modest start over 1m2f at Redcar and this longer trip should be within his remit. He looks the main threat given neither of the fillies, Love Candy and Our Cilla, have shown any worthwhile form as of yet.
