Verdict

Promising hurdler EL BEAU won a minor handicap at York before stepping up to this grade with a 9lb rise and running an excellent race at Ayr. He's 3lb out of the handicap but Joe Doyle's claim takes care of that and he can score again. Fattsota won a Ripon handicap so easily in April that he shot up the ratings and has been struggling but he's now just 1lb higher so is an obvious threat. Master Of Finance won a course and distance handicap in April but is now 11lb higher while This Is The Day has been racing exclusively at Listed level this summer so will appreciate the drop in grade. The remaining pair have a bit more to do though are by no means out of it.
