Sunraider was a 25/1 chance when winning this from a 5lb lower mark a year ago and has mainly been competing at a higher level subsequently. JAN VAN HOOF completed a hat-trick on fast going and Polytrack and looked right back to his best on ground with some give at the Curragh last time. He's just 2lb higher than his last success and can get back to winning ways. New Bidder completed a double at Ayr before a fine effort in the Bronze Cup there on his hat-trick bid. Any further rain will aid his cause while Spiraea arrives in top form having followed two good runs here with a comfortable victory a week ago. Felix Leiter suffered in the weights after completing a hat-trick as a juvenile but has dropped to a fair mark and looked ready to win again soon when runner-up in a big field at York.
