It will be interesting to see if there's any confidence behind David Nicholls' well-handicapped pair Di Stefano (on debut for his new yard) or Galpin Junior but a safer option may prove to be last time out course and distance winner BOSUN BREESE. His 5lb rise is negated by his apprentice rider but he looks well enough handicapped in any respect having been competitive from marks in the mid-eighties a couple of seasons ago. Paul Hanagan has been aboard Sir Nod for the gelding's last four successes and he's on a competitive mark but has yet to show his best at this track. Cheyenne Red has each-way claims whilst Incomparable is 1lb lower than when last successful and needs a market check in a typically competitive handicap.
