In depth
Verdict
Peggie Sue won at Chepstow in between outings on the all-weather and an apprentice’s allowance negates a 6lb rise back on this surface. Bossipop failed to cope with a 4lb rise last time having won over 6f at Ripon earlier while Saluti has recorded all five wins so far over longer trips, though is still preferred to stablemate War Whisper. But it could pay to stick with PRIMO’S COMET, who returned a cosy winner at Musselburgh recently and can shrug off a 4lb rise given Jim Goldie’s charge has won off higher marks in the past.
