        Verdict

        ZAMAN JAMEEL faced a tougher task at York on his debut and should finish closer with normal progress. He’s preferred to Hoofs Happy Now, who showed improvement at Thirsk last time, though several newcomers are worth noting. Politics is a half-brother to three winners but is fitted with a hood for his debut while the 120,000gns purchase Regional represents last year’s winning yard. Bescar is already gelded but there’s plenty of speed in his pedigree and he’s another to note.
