Tricky Dicky went close at Catterick last time having won a division of a sprint over course and distance before that. But CAPTAIN DION won the first division of that latter sprint by five lengths before returning a wide-margin winner once again at Chelmsford during the week. A 5lb penalty doesn’t look enough to anchor him in his current form. Cracking Speed opened his account at Brighton recently and is another to consider while Kentuckyconnection won at Newcastle before struggling off today’s higher mark at Carlisle last time. Mosseyb and Uncle Charlie have plenty to find with the selection and Highly Sprung has been well beaten since winning here in May.
