    Verdict

    Grenadier Guard won in heavy going at Haydock recently and Monica Sheriff scored at the same track before that. Both are penalised for those wins and Dubai Tradition is preferred having posted a much better effort at Ripon where the Godolphin colt was beaten only a short-head. But DANTE’S VIEW (NAP) finished third at Chelmsford on her debut and the runner-up has subsequently franked the form by winning. Ryan Moore takes over the reins today and Sir Michael Stoute’s colt gets the vote to open his account.
