Distant Sun should be good enough to land a race of this nature and is taken to lead home Wolfman and Aslan. The selection started life with Roger Charlton and put in some solid displays. He chased home a Jane Chapple-Hyam newcomer when last seen in January and a repeat of that effort on the turf may well be good enough in this contest. Wolfman is only rated 49, but is in decent form and it would be no surprise to see this one run into a place. Aslan looks the pick of the newcomers as he related to a number of good sprinters. He will not have to be too special to land this first time out and he should be monitored closely in the betting. The same applies to the Willie Haggas trained Gleneagles, but on this occasion we will go with experience and select Distant Sun.
