        Verdict

        WAN’EM (NAP) was very green at Catterick on debut but still ran out an easy winner. The second and third have both won since and Karl Burke’s gelding can defy his penalty before being aimed higher. Edge Of Darkness hasn’t been disgraced in two runs over this trip and represents last year’s winning stable, though was behind Lerwick at Ripon. Dragonball Prince is a half-brother to two winners and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
