        Verdict

        Henry Smith completed a double at Musselburgh but the assessor looks to have hold of him after failing to land a hat-trick from this mark on the same track. Pacharana has been superbly placed to complete a four-timer in this sort of grade though all under Jamie Spencer and it's the turn of an apprentice today from a 6lb higher mark. CARTWRIGHT landed a couple of minor handicaps before heading for the Polytrack at Chelmsford where he appeared to find the 1m6f beyond him. This looks more his trip and he can return to winning ways. Chant has won over the track and trip and will get a good ride from the experienced Rowan Scott.
