With a near plum draw in stall 17, of the 18 runners, Jeremy Glover's Espada will be a popular choice with backers to take the afternoon's Showcase Handicap. Tom Tun made the most of a good draw himself when successful at Doncaster on his reappearance but has more to do here and a bigger danger may be the Les Eyre-trained Nigrasine, who seems to reserve his best form for Pontefract and has a decent draw in stall 13. Barry Hills has his team in good form right now so it would be no surprise to see Rafters Music put earlier disappointments behind him.
