    Verdict

There was plenty to like about Bondy’s debut fourth at York and he’ll know more today. Alshars has travelled up from Lambourn while Carlisle winner Catton Lady was still showing signs of inexperience when only fourth at Ripon, though carries a penalty in this as does the Ripon winner POWER OF ZEUS. The latter’s form has been franked, however, and he may well complete a double even though Cuban Harry has shown promise in both starts to date while the Fahey newcomer Golden Strike will have his supporters.
