      Lucky Protector was no match for the odds-on favourite when second at Pontefract but should be in the mix in this company. EVENING STORY placed over 7f at Redcar last week on her belated reappearance having gone close in a handicap over today’s longer trip at the end of last year. She may prove the one to side with given the remainder have plenty of improvement to find and the newcomer Catrake Force makes no appeal on breeding.
