The older horses at the top of the handicap arrive in woeful form and it looks best to concentrate on the three-year-olds. Polytrack winner Zowaina wasn't beaten far when third at Windsor last time though Key Gold was still over nine lengths behind the winner when third at Haydock on her latest start. Maybeagrey is back on a winning mark and showed a bit more at Ripon recently but this could be between the less exposed Newmarket-based duo Jorum and KUNEGUNDA. The former has shown enough in maidens to suggest she can figure on her handicap bow but the latter's recent third at Windsor is working out well with runner-up Guarantee having subsequently scored and James Fanshawe's filly gets the nod to open her account.
