Mon Plaisir showed improved form last time and can land this modest handicap from Skyscape and Hulla Ballew. Chris Wall's filly had shown very little in three maidens before finishing a close second to Magic Flo at Yarmouth. Now she knows what is required she could land her first victory today. Hulla Ballew has been a model of consistency this season and put in another solid display last time when chasing home the improving Flash Ram at Carlisle. She should reach the money again. Skyscape finished fourth in a decent looking maiden at Sandown last time. The fifth has since been successful so the form has been franked and she may have got in her quite lightly. Charmatic and Graceful Air have solid handicap form and may do best of the others, however Mon Plaisir is going the right way and gets our vote.
