Sure to be no hanging about here with the likes of Archie Babe in attendance. However, Melodian also likes to bowl along at the head of affairs and he just edges the vote after posting a good effort at Beverley last week. Others to consider include: Albavilla, for whom Johnny Murtagh is a very interesting jockey booking, and Best Flight, who makes his turf debut today and is very lightly raced for a horse of his age. However, he faces no easy task at the weights and along with Meteorite Sun, is probably best watched today. Archie Babe, as a previous four-time winner at the track, obviously likes his racing around here but may find this trip is his bare minimum these days. So he is taken on with Melodian, who is well in with the likes of Rotuma, and he may be too hard to match for toe if he runs up to form again today.
