A very tricky handicap to call and Lucayan Dancer is only a tentative choice to come out on top now that he is being sent out over what is probably his optimum trip. The likes of Rahjel Sultan, Mobo Baco and Torrid Kentavr will not make it easy for the selection though - whereas support for He Who Dares wins will also be interesting now that he back on turf for the first time since last November and his shrewd connections always have to be respected when they target a race. However, Lucayan Dancer has long been an under achiever and has dropped to a very attractive mark after finding himself stretched to the limit over further in better races than this last term. The Zieten gelding fits the profile of horses that have flourished when switched to his capable trainer and, now that he has the benefit of a run behind him, Lucayan Dancer is expected to be a different proposition this afternoon. The in-form Rahjel Sultan may be the one who gives him the most to do.
