A competitive renewal featuring a really strong southern challenge and William Haggas' TAPISSERIE could well complete the three-timer. Expertly placed, the Le Havre filly has gone from strength to strength and came with a determined late thrust to land a Listed contest at Carlisle last time. She won't want to get too far behind around here but Paul Hanagan retains the ride and she will have no problem should conditions deteriorate further. Perfection ran a cracker in the Oak Tree Stakes at the Goodwood Festival and is interesting in a first-time visor with De Sousa booked while Shades Of Blue also deserves a place on the short-list, though she too has yet to encounter softened ground. Miss Celestial is respected and Last Empire may progress further.
