VAN GERWEN is taken to defy a hike in the weights having made all over course annd distance last time to win by over two lengths. Avon Breeze won this last year and is back on a wining mark if at her best while the veteran Tangerine Trees scored off today’s mark at Nottingham back in May. Bondi Beach Boy narrowly beat Ballesteros at Chester in June but the latter re-opposes on better terms and I'll Be Good also won at Chester last month but is 7lb higher. Tylery Wonder was behind the latter at Catterick last week but that wasn’t his running and he’s not out of this.
