      Verdict

      A few of these drop down in class including BURMESE, rated 110, and the latter should have the measure of today’s opposition. It was soft ground when he finished fifth in the Ascot Gold Cup in June and Marcus Tregoning’s charge was well ahead of Cayirli when behind Quest For More in the Prix du Cadran at Chantilly on Arc day. Cayirli has the edge over Fun Mac on these terms though his last good effort was back in June when second in the Queen Alexandra at Ascot. Fun Mac ran below par in the Cesarewitch last time while Oriental Fox has claims at the weights but his form has also taken a dip recently. The remainder have it all to do on these terms.
