Verdict

Mutawahej can be the one to break their maiden here, in what looks a tight little affair, but there'll be support too for Timoctracy and Ariknui. All are pretty lightly raced, with the exception of debutant Ariknui and Amyann who's shown nothing of note so far. Mutawahej, an expensive foal is a half brother to Sophisticat, and may have fared better than 5th on debut if smarter out of the stalls. He should have come on for that though, and looks to be the one to be on. Timocracy has had two runs so far, and although well beaten on those, should have come on for them. He had a year's gap between runs, but now just a matter of weeks since last time out. His siblings have been successful, and Mark Johnston must feel a quick re-appearance can be justified. Ariknui is the sole newcomer and could be anything from Karl Burke's yard, so any support should be noted. We'll side though with Mutawahej.
