This doesn't appear to be the strongest of maidens and we will side with the newcomer Giant Slalom, News Of The Day and Captain Nemo could be the best of the experienced runners. Giant Slalom is trained by Willie Haggas who is not averse to having first time out winners. The selection is a well bred son of Tomba and if the money arrives, take note. News Of The Day made her debut in a decent enough race at Leicester. She went off at 20/1 and never figured. She will improve for the outing and should play a part this afternoon. Captain Nemo, along with The Dandy Fox, has shown enough ability to warrant a mention in this type of company. So a race that will not take too much winning and Giant Slalom is the sporting choice.
