      Verdict

      STONIFIC won off a pound higher mark under Sean Kirrane at Ripon earlier in the season. He also won a valuable handicap over hurdles at Market Rasen last month and a drop back to 1m6f last time would not have suited David O’Meara’s stayer. Flint Hill holds Chocolate Box on York running and looks a danger but Teqany is no certainty to confirm Chepstow running with Retrospect while there must be a serious doubt about the prolific Out Of Breath staying this far. Arabescato won over course and distance in April, however, and De Sousa is back on board for the first time since.
